Fun Points is a small app for making friendly bets in fake points. Here's exactly what we do with your information, in plain language.

What we collect

Your email address, to sign you in and reach you about your bets.

A display name that's your nickname at the table. It defaults to the front of your email.

If you use “Sign in with Google,” the basic profile Google confirms (your email, and that it's verified).

The bets, points, and activity you create inside your groups.

One small sign-in cookie so you stay logged in. It's the only cookie and it's essential, so there's no banner to click.

Why, and the legal basis
We use this only to run the service you signed up for (the legal basis is performance of that agreement). No ads, no tracking you around the web, and we never sell your data.
Who else handles it

A few providers process data on our behalf, under contract:

Google Cloud hosts the app and database.

Resend sends your sign-in emails.

Google handles “Sign in with Google,” if you use it.

They run in the United States, with standard data-protection safeguards in place.

How long we keep it
While your account is active. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes. You can delete your account whenever you like, which removes your personal details (below).
Your rights

You can see, correct, export, or delete your data, and object to how we use it. The quickest route:

Sign in to manage your account

Or email privacy@funpoints.org. If you're in the EU or UK and think we've got it wrong, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
